Demo opportunity
Having tickets is nice. But if you're looking for something extra, we're currently looking for demos to be shown on-site. We've organized a great area and ample time for those. The price for one demo table is 2500 euros (+ VAT 24%). The number of demo tables is limited, so if you would like to secure one, you may contact us at events@wirepas.com
Tickets
To make sure everything that's happening is relevant to you, the event is invitation-only. Together with the nice line-up, we offer you two days full of discussions and networking, food and beverages and a very very good Midsummer celebration.
A ticket to the event is 499 euros (+ VAT 24%). There are a limited amount of tickets, so you may not want to think for too long. Below you can register and buy your ticket. Once your payment has been confirmed, you'll get an email from us along with some tips for planning your trip.

Here’s how the registration goes: Once you’re done with your personal and company information, you’re directed to a credit card payment. The payment will be handled by HubSpot and Stripe. Once the payment is done, your registration is complete. You’ll get a registration confirmation in 2 working days.
Venue
The venue is hand-picked for Wirepas OPEN. The Backas Estate is located less than 5 kilometers from the Helsinki airport – about 10 minutes by taxi. Our recommended accommodation is the Skyline Airport Hotel, just 500 meters away from the main venue. Once you've registered, we'll send you a discount code for a fixed day rate. There are a limited amount of pre-booked hotel rooms, so be quick if you want to stay at this hotel. But this is not the only hotel nearby.

Why should I attend?
Wirepas OPEN is where IoT experts from around the globe meet to discuss IoT, technology and future opportunities. It’s where networks are formed and business deals are accelerated. You’ll participate in keynotes, breakout streams and networking sessions. Not to mention the party at the end of day 1.
Where should I stay?
We recommend the Skyline Airport Hotel. Once your ticket payment is confirmed, you'll receive a code for a fixed day rate.
There's a shuttle from the Airport to the hotel (pick up from platform #42).
Daily from 15:15 until 01:15 (every 30 minutes, departure times always at 15 min past and 45 minutes to, starting at 15:15, followed by 15:45, 16:15 etc --> until 01:15). Mon-Fri (excl. public holidays): pick-up from HEL airport arranged also during 9:30-15:00 -> NOTE:when arriving before 15:00: please call the hotel (Tel +358 9 825 511) once you've received your luggage and the driver will pick you up). Outside of the mentioned times the transportation is at one's own expense.
Can I catch an afternoon flight on the 12th of June?
See our agenda above. The program will finish at 16:00 on the 12th of June.
The distance from the venue to the airport is less than 5km. Taxi drive takes roughly 10 minutes.
What’s the weather like in Helsinki?
The biggest thing to note is that you'll experience approximately 19 hours of daylight daily in Helsinki in June. Early summer is usually not the hottest, but it will be a nice summer weather. Looking for a current weather forecast for the place? Click here.

Networking with others, how does that work?
You can book meetings with other attendees directly. We'll get back to the practicalities closer to the event.
What's the dress code?
Business casual throughout the event, including the evening fiesta. Please note that some walking outside is expected.
What if I have to cancel my participation?
Once a ticket has been purchased, it’s not possible to cancel the participation.
I’m unable to attend after all, can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?
If you have purchased a ticket and would like to transfer your seat to a colleague, please reach out to events@wirepas.com
Why do I have to pay VAT?
Article 53 of the EU VAT Directive (2006/112/EC) deals with the business-to-business (‘B2B’) supply of services with respect to admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment or similar events, such as fairs and exhibitions, and of ancillary services related to the admission. The place where VAT ought to be charged on such admission is the place where the event takes place. As Wirepas OPEN is held in Finland the place of supply is Finland. Therefore, we must add 24 % VAT to the price of the ticket that entitles to enter to the event. This is regardless of where your company is based.
What's included in the ticket price?
Access to 2 days of Wirepas OPEN seminar and evening event. Networking sessions and workshops. Food and Beverages for the two days during the event. And a midsummer celebration. Note, travel and accommodation are not included.
